THE 3.0 CLUB

The 3.0 club is an organization in housing intended to promote academic the engagement and success of housing residents.

Students who join the club will be able to receive raffle vouchers for doing things that help them succeed academically. At the end of the quarter, those vouchers will be used to raffle-off prizes.

To Join

• Students need to become fans of the “3.0 Club” facebook page. (Search for “CSUSB 3.0 Club”)

• By joining students will receive 1 voucher (can only be done once).

How to Earn Additional Vouchers
Additional vouchers can be earned by doing things listed below. For each activity student should complete a voucher. Vouchers (link to vouchers) are available at 3.0 Club facebook page. Completed vouchers can be turned into the housing annex or main housing office.

• Creating a weekly (link to calendar) and quarterly class/academic (link to calendar) calendar by the end of second week of the quarter. Copies of calendars are available on line at facebook page. Worth 3 Vouchers, can only be done once per quarter.

• Review monthly electronic newsletter and completing quiz at end. Newsletters will be available through facebook fan page. Worth 1 Voucher, can be done once per newsletter.

• Attend monthly 3.0 Club program / speaker. Worth 5 Vouchers for every program/speaker attended, can be done once per speaker.

• Visit tutoring center (link to learning center) and receive tutoring. Each visit needs to be 1 hr long. Worth 1 Voucher for every two visits, no limit.

• Visit writing center (link to writing center) to have paper reviewed. Worth 1 Voucher for every two visits, no limit.

• Visit professor during office our. 1 Voucher for every visit, no limit.

• Meet with academic advisor. 1 Voucher for every visit, can only be done once per quarter.

• Attend academic related workshop and event. 1 Voucher for every event upon approval/verification, no limit.

• Increase Quarterly GPA by .50 from previous quarter. 5 Vouchers for every .50 increase.

• Earn a:
         o 3.0 Quarterly GPA. 10 Vouchers for achievement
         o 3.5 Quarterly GPA. 15 Vouchers for achievement
         o 4.0 Quarterly GPA. 20 Vouchers for achievement

End of the Quarter Raffle Event

• Completed vouchers be turned into the Main Office or Annex Office by Friday of 9th Week of the Quarter

• GPA entries will be calculated from previous quarter

• Students have to be current residents to eligible for raffle

• The raffle will be done during 10th week of the quarter.

• Prizes will include book store gift certificates, I Pods, CSUSB attire and much more!
