DIRECTOR OF HOUSING & RESIDENTIAL LIFE Lovellie "Happy" Almogela The Director of Housing & Residential Life is the chief administrator for on-campus housing at CSUSB. The Director is responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of the Housing & Residential Life operations and serves as the official Housing representative for the University. Hometown: Waipahu, Hawaii What do you enjoy about working at CSUSB?: The growth potential - I enjoy the fact that this is a mid-size campus that has a small-school feel. Most Memorable Moment: In December on the Big Island of Hawaii, I professed my commitment to my life partner in front of our family and friends. If you could be an animal what would it be and why?: A dolphin because they are by nature a helping and fun-loving animal, they are committed to one partner for life, and they always have a smile on their face. Craziest Moment: Believe it or not, there are many that I'm too embarrassed to share! Random Fact: I was born with two teeth (they eventually fell off).
