LIVING LEARNING COMMUNITIES

Living Learning Communities (LLC) are special residential programs designed to provide students with incredible residential experiences! They are collaborative efforts between the Office of Housing and Residential Life and various offices and academic departments throughout the campus.

LLCs provide residents with opportunities to:

  • Connect with students who have a shared interest

  • Establish personal connections with Faculty and Staff

  • Participate in special service learning, leadership, and social programs

  • Have once in a life time experience!

Obviously, each LLC is unique. To learn more about each community, click on the links below:

Did you Know…

  • Students in LLP’s also tend to perform better academically than their counterparts in conventional halls (Pascarella and Terenzini).

  • Students in LLP’s are more likely than other residence hall counterparts and commuting students to persist in college and to graduate from college (Kochendoerfer).
