NSE
Application Process

Applications are available beginning October 1, 2000 for NSE participation in the 2001 - 2002 school year. The application can be completed in 15 - 20 minutes; there is also an application fee of $80.00 that is due when the application is filed with Dr. Theron Pace in University Hall - 183.

It is important for anyone interested in the NSE program to know that questions are welcomed! Dr. Theron Pace invites a telephone call at (909) 880-5239 or
e-mail tpace@csusb.edu. The $80.00 application fee allows you to request as many schools as you want. Usually you will be accepted at your first or second choice university, but it is acceptable to list four, five, or six universities in your priority order.

You pay CSUSB tuition (Plan B) or in-state tuition (Plan A) at your requested school. Dr. Theron Pace is able to explain the options and different possibilities.

You will know which school has accepted your application by March 20, 2000. This means you have the Spring Quarter 2000 to work with your academic advisor, and Dr. Pace, to determine which classes at the NSE University of your choice, that will eligible for transfer and apply to your CSUSB degree.

The NSE application process is simple and straightforward; the earlier in the school year (after October 1st), that you begin the application process and questions, the more likely your choices of gaining acceptance at your first university of choice.

To assist you with the NSE experience we have provided a checklist to review the steps involved with the home and host universities while involved in the NSE program.

Again, questions are welcomed!
